1. What is funds transfer from other banks?
 
This service allows you to transfer funds from your SGD accounts maintained with other banks (only applicable to FAST participating banks) to your CIMB SGD accounts.

How do I get started?

  You need to fill in an application form and mail it back to CIMB Bank. Or you may submit your application at any CIMB Bank branch.

3. How long does it take for the application to be processed?
 
  It will take up to 4 weeks to complete the application as your debiting bank needs to approve the request too.

What is the daily transaction limit for inward funds transfer?

  There is no daily transaction limit imposed by CIMB Bank for receiving funds from other accounts to your CIMB account. However, please note that debiting banks may have maximum funds transfer limit set on their respective internet banking platform.

  As this service is only applicable to FAST participating banks, your SGD CIMB account will be credited almost immediately.

  You may transfer funds into any of your CIMB SGD accounts:

  • Current Account

  Yes, scheduled transfer for inward funds transfer is also available.

Can I still transfer from other banks to my CIMB account?

  Yes you can. However it would be good to setup an inward funds transfer to your CIMB account so that via one single login at CIMB Clicks Internet Banking, you can transfer funds out to other banks as well as to transfer funds into your CIMB account.
