How long is the processing time for funds transfer to other banks?
Transfer via Non-FAST Your account will be debited immediately upon submission of a funds transfer request. For funds transfers submitted before 12 midnight on a business day, the funds will generally be credited to the beneficiary’s account within the next 2 to 3 business days.
Transfer via FAST Your account will be debited immediately and the beneficiary account will be credited almost instantantly.
Scheduled Transfer Your account will be debited at 6.00am on the specified processing date. Crediting of funds will be dependent on whether you have a scheduled transfer via FAST or Non-FAST.
Navigate to Services => Change ==> Daily Limit, and you will find the page to change your daily transaction limit for each of the Internet Banking services.
Which are the accounts that I need with CIMB Bank to perform FAST?
To perform FAST, you will need access to CIMB Clicks Internet Banking, which is available to any CIMB customer who has any of the following personal banking accounts with us:
Yes, you may schedule your funds transfer to be effected either on a periodic basis or as a one-time instruction. The duration of processing the scheduled funds transfer will be dependent on whether you have submitted the transfer via FAST or Non-FAST. Please refer to Question 1 on the duration of processing.
Do I need to use the CIMB Clicks Internet Banking Security Device when transferring funds?
You do not require a security device if you are transferring to an existing Favourite account (i.e. another participating bank’s account that has already been set up in CIMB Clicks for funds transfer) but you will require a 2nd Factor Authentication for transfers above S$1,000.
If you are transferring funds - be it via FAST and Non-FAST - using a One-Time Transfer (i.e. to a non-Favourite account number), you will require a security device to facilitate the transaction regardless of the amount transferred.
You may add your Favourite accounts for transfer using CIMB Clicks Internet Banking (www.cimbclicks.com.sg) and you would require your security device to do so.
Please note that Favourite accounts created for FAST can be used for transfer via FAST or Non-FAST, while Favourite accounts created for Non-FAST can only be used for transfer via Non-FAST.
